Feral pigeons can cause many risks from the accumulation of bird droppings and nesting materials. These birds have been known to spread diseases such as salmonella, toxoplasmosis, histoplasmosis. The diseases that pigeons carry are often found on the mites, which spread from location to location and inhabiting the birds nesting materials. Bacteria often reside in bird droppings as well.
